Michelle Waterson, AKA “The Karate Hottie”, just enjoyed her 32nd Birthday this weekend, and she is feeling “Fly”. Her words, not ours.
The top ranked UFC strawweight contender is coming off her first ever losing streak, something she’s sure to want to remedy as soon as possible.
With the new year having just kicked off, and with a new digit just added to her age, Waterson is hoping to get booked in a fight against Felice Herrig next.
During a media scrum at last weekend’s UFC 219 event, Waterson called her next shot, and hopes to return to action this March.
She stated, “I’m really looking forward to watching the bout tonight between Carla and Cynthia. I think either one of those girls would be a fun match for me.”
“Also, I know Felice (Herrig) has been on a four-fight win streak. She and I kind of grew up in the sport together; I think that would be an entertaining fight. But at this point, I just want to get in the win column, so we’ll see who they give me.”
But putting all that aside for a second, the UFC star is happy to have turned 32, and she graced her fans with a trio of super cute pics to bring in her big day.
