With Robert Whittaker Medically Unfit, Here’s Your Update UFC 221 Pay-Per-View

The UFC middleweight title is back in turmoil, as reigning champion Robert Whittaker has been deemed medically unfit to compete. Here is a look at the updated fight card for UFC 221, in the wake of Whittaker’s removal.

Robert Whittaker was initially set to make his first title defense at UFC 221 in an octagon war against former champion Luke Rockhold. Whittaker has since been removed from the card due to an undisclosed injury.

As a result, tough division contender Yoel Romero is now set to face off against Luke Rockhold for the interim middleweight title in the night’s main event. UFC 221 goes down Feb. 10 inside the Perth Arena in Perth, Western Australia. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view.
