It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has locked in a series of exciting match ups for two of the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion’s upcoming fight cards. Here is a look at the three new fights that have been added to the UFC schedule.
Former No. 1 ranked IBJJF competitor turned MMA phenom, Mackenzie Dern is now set to make her debut inside the octagon. The fighter has gone undefeated in her MMA career, having most recently earned a victory in her debut under the Invicta FC banner. However, as reported by MMA Fighting, Dern will now be debuting inside the octagon against Ashley Yoder at UFC 222.
The event goes down March 3 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be available live on pay-per-view.
In addition, UFC officials also recently announced new additions to the promotion’s upcoming visit to Western Australia.
Australian native Jake Matthews is now set to throw down with Li Jingliang in a lightweight fight at UFC 221. The event will take place Feb. 10 inside the Perth Arena in Perth, Western Australia.
Also added to the UFC schedule for the same night, lightweight Luke Jumeau will now be facing off against Daichi Abe. Jumeau is coming off of a loss inside the octagon in his last outing. Meanwhile, Abe will be looking to keep his winning streak alive after making a successful UFC debut.
