There’s been a lot of hype around Khabib Nurmagomedov as of late, and that hype also includes Khabib’s plans to move up to the UFC’s welterweight division to fight the champion. A move Tyron Woodley says he does not want to happen.
Nurmagomedov is currently undefeated in his professional MMA career and holds dominant victories over some of the best fighters in the UFC. His most recent destruction of Edson Barboza at UFC 219 may very well have been the best performance of his career as he battered and dominated Barboza for a lopsided decision win.
Taking to his desk job at TMZ, Woodley addressed the issue of the top UFC lightweight contender’s ambitions to move up to his division. Including naming his price to fight the Russian super star.
Woodley stated, “How you gonna put this maniac on me? Don’t try to throw me in there with a dude that’s fighting bears.Hey Dana, you remember Nate asked for that $15 Million, it’s $16 Million [if you want me to fight Khabib]”
