Breaking: Dodson Does Not Want To Accept Co-Main Event Fight after Opponent Missed Weight Today

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now gearing up for yet another exciting night of fights. That being said, it would appear that the night’s co-headliner may now be in jeopardy.

The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is set to host UFC Fight Night 125 on Saturday night, Feb. 3, in Belem, Brazil. The night’s main event is set to see UFC veteran Lyoto Machida face Eryk Anders.

Co-headlining the fight card, John Dodson will be taking on Pedro Munhoz. However, things may be changing in the near future.

Three fighters missed weight for the event at today’s weigh-ins, including Munhoz. Munhoz came in at a staggering four pounds overweight for his co-main event slot against Dodson.

Now MMA journalist Guilherme Cruz‏ has taken to Twitter to report that Dodson is allegedly not too interested in facing off against an overweight opponent at the event. As a result, the UFC is reportedly scrambling to secure the night’s co-main event.
