Perth, Western Australia hosted an exciting night of fights over the weekend. UFC 221 went down inside the Perth Arena on Saturday, Feb. 10, for fight fans around the world.
In the main event, former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold faced off against tough contender Yoel Romero. The two mixed martial arts warriors put on a battle for the Perth crowd, with Romero ultimately earning a third round knockout victory over his opponent.
Chris Weidman suffered the first loss of his career and the end of his UFC middleweight title reign to Luke Rockhold, creating some deep history between the two fighters. Now Weidman has come forward with a statement concerning the fighter’s tough loss. Taking to Twitter, Weidman said:
