Mixed martial arts warrior and UFC veteran Nick Diaz has not competed inside the octagon since his brutal war with former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva back in 2015. With that in mind, UFC President Dana White believes the MMA phenom may be making a return in the immanent future.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, White revealed that he believes the fighter is potentially looking to return to the octagon.
“I think Nick Diaz is interested in fighting right now,” White said. “We’ll see. We’ll see how that plays out. This year, the rest of this year, nothing but great fights coming up. So hopefully we can make a couple of those.”
Nick Diaz has earned a hoard of fight fans throughout his storied career in the sport of mixed martial arts. Having put on intense wars against some of the toughest talent inside the octagon, Diaz quickly earned a reputation in the fighting community as an always dangerous opponent.
