UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis pulled himself out of a loss over the weekend. Now the knockout artist has taken to social media to share his wife’s reaction to his recent victory.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was in Austin, Texas on Sunday night, Feb. 18, for the promotion’s latest highly anticipated event. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion hosted UFC Fight Night 126 within the Frank Erwin Center.
Co-headlining the night’s event, Derrick Lewis and Marcin Tybura squared off for the Austin crowd. Tybura was seemingly getting the better of Lewis for much of the fight, as Tybura was able to establish dominant positions with his grappling prowess.
However, Lewis pulled out a devastating knockout finish in the third round of the fight. Following the victory, Lewis’ wife could be seen cheering the fighter on from cage side.
