In a little bit of an unknown rivalry, former UFC title challenger Claudia Gadelha apparently has really wanted to fight former champion Carla Esparza for a very long time.
The two female strawweight fighters both came up through the Invicta FC ranks alongside each other, but never fought, despite both being highly ranked for years.
Now, on the heels of their fight announcement, Gadelha takes the first verbal blow, by explaining how bad she’s wanted this fight, and even taking a jab by calling Esparza a “little girl”.

The two will meet in Chicago at UFC 225. Currently there is no headliner for the event, but UFC 225 goes down on June 9, live on pay-per-view.
