Just One Month In To 2018, And Already Six Headliner Cancellations To UFC Cards

Only one month into 2018, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has already suffered six main event or co-main event alterations to some of the promotion’s most exciting cards.

MMA journalist Mike Bohn has taken to social media to report that a total of six fights from either a main event or co-main event slot have been effected in the year of 2018. Over Twitter, Bohn stated:

“Since I know you all love this game: Max Holloway’s UFC 222 withdrawal marks the SIXTH main or co-main event change to the UFC calendar so far in 2018.”

UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway was initially set to face off against former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar at UFC 222. However, Holloway has since pulled out of the match due to an undisclosed injury.
