Replay: Shevchenko Destroys Opponent, Earns Dominant Stoppage in UFC Co-Main Event

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is hosting an entertaining night of fights in Belem, Brazil tonight. UFC Fight Night 125 is going down with a fight card full of intense match ups. With the night’s co-main event now going down, the time has come to take a look at the UFC results for the latest war inside the octagon.

Former UFC bantamweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko is making her flyweight debut against UFC newcomer Priscila Cachoeira in the co-headliner for tonight’s exciting event. Now the two mixed martial arts warriors are stepping inside the octagon for their flyweight war.

The fight fired off at a swift pace, as Shevchenko immediately put the pressure on her opponent. The fighter stunned Cachoeira with a right hand early in the fight, following is up with a takedown.

Shevchenko then began raining down elbows on her opponent, quickly bloodying the fighter’s face. Cachoeira managed to survive the round, but Shevchenko put on a dominant performance over her opponent.

Early in the second round, Shevchenko managed to take her opponent to the ground again. After locking in the crucifix position, Shevchenko began pummeling Cachoeira with a flurry of ground and pound all over again.

Shevchenko then managed to take the back of her opponent, raining down ground and pound on Cachoeira before sinking in a rear-naked choke.
