Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar is coming off of a tough loss to Brian Ortega. With that in mind, it would appear that the fighter is planning on making an immanent return to the octagon.
“The Answer” suffered the first knockout loss of his career to Ortega at UFC 222. Edgar was initially set to face off against UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway for his title.
However, Holloway was forced to pull out of the match up on short notice due to an injury. Since then, a new rumor claimed that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now working on a rematch between Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson.
The rematch is allegedly being targeted for a UFC Fight Night on April 2 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Well, Edgar has since taken to social media to let his New Jersey fans that he will be seeing them soon.
