It’s a sad state of affairs, really. Jon Jones was once considered the most dominant athlete the sport of Mixed Martial Arts has ever seen.
Virtually unbeaten in his career, rare is it for a champion to dominate from his first fight, to his last fight, against top competition the way Jon Jones has.
Up until recently no one would have dared question his place as the greatest fighter of all time. However, after multiple failed drug tests, including his latest for performance enhancing drugs, Jon Jones’ legacy might be ruined.
Daniel Cormier’s head coach, Javier Mendez believes that there is no way Jon Jones can ever be called the greatest, and he said as much in a recent interview with Express sport.

“The whole damn thing is tarnished now. Jon Jones, forget about the greatest of all time. hat’s out of the history books. There’s no way in hell anyone is going to consider him the pound-for-pound.”
