Women’s UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg has been claiming an interest in facing a native featherweight competitor as of late. That being said, the fighter has been targeting bantamweights as of late. Now former Invicta FC featherweight champion Megan Anderson has come forward to call out the title holder.
Cyborg first earned her UFC title by defeating former Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger. The fighter then defended her title from former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm.
Most recently, Cyborg defended her title from former Invicta FC bantamweight champion Yana Kunitskaya. Now Cyborg is showing an interest in facing off against reigning women’s UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes.
With all of that in mind, Megan Anderson is now looking to enter the picture. A former Invicta FC featherweight champion, Anderson has garnered experience within the division that sets her out from among Cyborg’s other possible opponents.
