UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is an a tear through the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). With that in mind, the dominant title holder believes that Bellator MMA’s welterweight champion would maybe be his toughest match.
Tyron Woodley has not been defeated in his mixed martial arts career since 2014. The loss was to none other than Rory MacDonald, with “Red King” earning a victory by unanimous decision.
After a failed title shot against Robbie Lawler, MacDonald would eventually find his way under the Bellator MMA banner. Competing for the rival mixed martial arts promotion, MacDonald has made his way to becoming the Bellator welterweight champion.
Taking to Twitter, Woodley has now revealed that he believes a rematch against MacDonald would perhaps be his toughest match up.
“He is a stud and my toughest match up on the universe. Too bad we can’t dance again. But congrats on his success. I’ve always been a fan of @rory_macdonald”
