Women’s UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg put on a dominant display in her latest title defense. Now fighters are coming forward over social media to voice their thoughts on the recent octagon performance.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 222 on Saturday night, March 3. Headlining the event, Cris Cyborg defended her title from rising challenger and former Invicta FC bantamweight champion Yana Kunitskaya.
Yana Kunitskaya appeared to be giving Cyborg trouble early in the fight, as the fighter was able to get the champion to the canvas. However, it quickly became apparent that Kunitskaya was completely outmatched in the stand up and Cyborg made short work of her opponent.
Check out what many fighters had to say about the title defense in the Twitter posts down below:
Drinking game: if Cyborg doesn’t finish her in the first round take a drink. And then order another $30 worth of liquor and finish it #ufc222

Cris Cyborg, TKO round 1. Made it look easy on the feet. Nunes/Cyborg is the fight to make.
