UFC welterweight Colby Covington first drew controversy when he made some heated comments in his post-fight interview at UFC Sao Paulo back in 2017. Since then, the fighter has begun drawing the ire of many of his fellow competitors. Now knockout artist Mike Perry has come forward with a message for the fighter’s fans.
Back at UFC Sao Paulo, Colby Covington called Brazil a “dump” and the Brazilian crowd “filthy animals.” Former UFC heavyweight champion and Brazilian native Fabricio Werdum would later assault Covington with a boomerang.
Since then, Covington has been dropping trash-talk over social media with any fighter he deems fit. Now Mike Perry has fired back with a statement concerning Covington’s fans. Check it out below:
