Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk has locked down her next octagon performance. Now the fighter is set to take on tough division contender Tecia Torres.
Jedrzejczyk was knocked off of her undefeated streak back at UFC 217, when the fighter suffered a first round TKO loss to now reigning champion Rose Namajunas. Jedrzejczyk landed an immediate rematch with the fighter at UFC 223 in an attempt to win back the title.
However, Namajunas retaliated with a unanimous decision win in the rematch. Jedrzejczyk has gone from undefeated to fighting on a two bout losing streak.
As reported by ESPN, the former title holder is not set to take on Tecia Torres. The two mixed martial artists will throw down on the UFC on FOX 30 card.
The event will take place July 28 inside the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
