Michael Bisping Reveals Insider Info On Recent Nick Diaz Arrest
Mixed martial arts veteran Nick Diaz was recently arrested on charges of domestic battery. Now former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bising has come forward with a few words on the matter.
Nick Diaz was arrested by Las Vegas Police on Thursday, May 24, on a felony charge of domestic battery by strangulation and a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. The fighter was held in Clark County Detention Center at a bond of $18,000.
The alleged victim was later identified as female and was reportedly transported to a local hospital after the incident. A total of 12 units were dispatched to the scene and Diaz was reportedly combative with officers.
Diaz has since made bail, after having his court hearing on Saturday, May 26. Diaz’s friend Matt Staudt later came forward over social media to claim that an alleged stalker of Diaz had allegedly framed Diaz for the domestic violence case.
Now former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has come forward with a few words on the matter. Speaking on his podcast Believe You Me, Bisping offered his thoughts.
“Somebody that I know, a third party that remains nameless, seems to know a little bit more about the situation… wasn’t a witness, but seems to know better than I do. Apparently, (they) know the lady in question an apparently there is some history there, maybe a bit of a crazy stalker fan. If I’m getting it wrong, I apologize.”
