Former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida is now seemingly bound for another promotion. This time around, the UFC veteran is being targeted for Bellator MMA.
Lyoto Machida most recently knockout out MMA legend Vitor Belfort in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at UFC 224. The stunning knockout performance has since been reported to have been the final fight on Machida’s UFC contract.
After being in negotiations as a free agent, ESPN has come forward to report verbally agreed to a multi-fight contract with Bellator MMA. The fighter is expected to sign the contract soon.
