UFC welterweight Colby Covington is riding a title earning victory over the weekend. Now UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has come forward with a statement on the fighter.
Colby Covington faced off against former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos on Saturday, June 9, for the co-headliner of UFC 225. The two mixed martial artists battled it out for the interim welterweight title.
The fight ultimately went the distance, with Covington earning a unanimous decision victory for the interim welterweight belt. The controversial fighter has now seemingly frustrated reigning champion Tyron Woodley.
Speaking in a recent video, as seen below, Tyron Woodley revealed that he is looking to “take his life.” The reigning champion has already gone to social media to accept a fighter offer from Covington.
