The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is in Calgary, Canada this weekend to deliver the next big event from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). This time around, the UFC is hosting the exciting fight card for UFC on FOX 30.
UFC on FOX 30 is going down this Saturday, July 28, for the Calgary crowd and for fight fans around the world. Kicking off the night’s live FOX main card, a lightweight octagon war between Alexander Hernandez and Olivier Aubin-Mercier is going down for the Calgary crowd. Check out the UFC results down below.
Hernandez poured on the pressure early on in the opening round. The fighter quickly pressured Aubin-Mercier into the fence, pummeling the fighter with brutal shots. Ultimately, round one appeared to be a dominant one for Hernandez.
Aubin-Mercier returned with a vengeance in the second round. Taking his opponent to the canvas, Aubin-Mercier began pummeling his opponent with some damaging ground and pound.
Back on his feet, Hernandez quickly rushed his opponent into the fence and began dishing out some damaging shots of his own. This will be a tough round for the judges.
Aubin-Mercier suffered a second low blow early on the final round. Once the fight began once again, Hernandez pressured his opponent with a flurry of strikes.
Aubin-Mercier then managed to take his opponent to the canvas once again. However, Hernandez took his opponent’s back in the final moments of the fight. This one has gone the distance.
