UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier knocked out reigning heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic for his title in the main event of UFC 226 during International Fight Week earlier this summer. With Miocic having recently demanded a rematch, D.C. has followed up with a response.
Miocic first took to Twitter to state why he deserves a rematch.
“I have 4 belts. I broke the record for consecutive title defenses. I cleared out the heavyweight division. @dc_mma, let’s have rematch as proven champs.”
