UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov married back in 2013. Now some information concerning the fighter’s marriage has come to light.
“The Eagle” is currently enjoying a short break from the octagon after having earned the title. The mixed martial arts phenom went toe-to-toe with Al Iaquinta, after Tony Ferguson was removed from the match against Nurmagomedov due to an injury.
Nurmagomedov put on a dominant performance over his opponent, earning a unanimous decision victory. Now the fighter is enjoying time with his family. An insider source has since come forward with information concerning just how the fighter met his loving significant other.
The source reports that at just 22-years-old Khabib Nurmagomedov consulted with his grandfather concerning a possible marriage. A total of six girls were allegedly in question for the decision.
The source then claimed that Nurmagomedov often consults his grandfather for advice. At any rate, it would appear that “The Eagle” may not be in the relationship that now stands if it were not for his loving grandfather.
Nurmagomedov now has two children, a daughter and a son.
