Former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson was forced to pull out of his most recent match up. However, it would appear that the former interim title holder has potentially locked down his next fight.
Tony Ferguson was initially set to face off against Khabib Nurmagomedov back at UFC 223. Just six days away from the fight, “El Cucuy” tripped over a cable during a media obligation and tore his knee.
The fighter has since had surgery for the injury and has been recovering ever since. Recently medically cleared once again for competition, Ferguson has now gone to social media to announce that he will have fight news soon.
