UFC women’s flyweight champion Paige VanZant was recently reported as having been targeted for a match up against Rachael Ostovich. However, it would appear that “12 Gauge” has a different story to tell.
News source MMA Fighting originally reported that a fight was in the works between Paige VanZant and Rachael Ostovich for a fight card on Jan. 18 for the UFC’s big debut on ESPN. However, “12 Gauge” has now taken to Twitter to claim “#FakeNews.”
Check it out below:
“#FakeNews..sorry everyone I’m not even cleared yet. Hoping to get cleared this week to slowly start back to training! Off to Vegas Thursday to see my doctor.”
