The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is currently set to host one of the year’s most highly anticipated headliners on Oct. 6. With that in mind, undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov jut got a memorable sendoff from a hoard of fight fans as he gets ready for fight week.
UFC 226 has been estimated to have the potential to break the UFC pay-per-view purchase record. The event will take place Oct. 6 from within the illustrious T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
Headlining the event, Khabib Nurmagomedov will be putting his title and undefeated streak on the line as he welcomes UFC megastar Conor McGregor back into the octagon. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto has since taken to social media to show off a video of Khabib Nurmagomedov being welcomed by a massive crowd of fight fans within AKA gym in San Jose, Calif. ahead of the champion’s move to Las Vegas for fight week preparations.
