Former two-division UFC champion Georges St-Pierre has put on a storied career within the sport of mixed martial arts. That being said, every venture into the realm of combat sports has not been a successful one for the French-Canadian fighting phenom.
St-Pierre put on a dominant reign as the UFC welterweight champion for quite some time. Following a close decision victory over Johny Hendricks, St-Pierre went on to relinquish his title and take a hiatus from the sport of MMA.
Four years later, St-Pierre made his massive octagon return in the UFC’s middleweight division. Having submitted Michael Bisping back at UFC 217, St-Pierre earned his second division title.
That being said, back at ADCC 2005 St-Pierre went toe-to-toe with fellow UFC fighter Leonardo Santos. Santos made short work of his opponent by earning a flying armbar submission victory over the French-Canadian fighter.
