UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley recently revealed that he has no interest in fighting Kamaru Usman or any other fighter in replacement of his current title challenge. Now Woodley has come forward with a reason why.
Tyron Woodley is currently set to throw down against undefeated rising challenger Darren Till. The two talented mixed martial artists will face off in the main event of UFC 228.
UFC 228 is set to take place Sept. 8 from within the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view.
With Darren Till having missed weight in his latest match up, some fight fans are concerned that the fighter may not make weight. Speaking at the recent UFC 228 Media Lunch Scrum, Tyron Woodley revealed that he has spent anywhere from $50,000 to $60,000 in preparation for his upcoming opponent. Consequently, Woodley is not interested in fighting a replacement competitor that he has not prepared for.
