Over the course of the past two days, former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic has been vocal about wanting to rematch Daniel Cormier, even stating he’ll do it in New York on short notice.
That notion though was seemingly passed on by the UFC, who just announced the booking of Derrick Lewis vs. Daniel Cormier for the same day and venue that Miocic was requesting.
It’s a slight to the former champion, who holds the record in his weight class for most title defenses.
Taking to his Instagram, Miocic shared a video and statement … And we don’t think he’s messing around.
