Undefeated pugilist Floyd Mayweather Jr. and record breaking boxer Manny Macquiao faced off inside the squared circle back in 2015. The bout ultimately broke the record for being the highest sold pay-per-view event of all time.
“Money” Mayweather and Pacquiao ultimately went the distance, with Mayweather earning a unanimous decision victory over his opponent. The pay-per-view reached an etimated 4.6 million record breaking purchases.
Now retired, Mayweather has since called out Manny Pacquiao for a rematch, as seen within the video above. However, Mayweather has since been talking about a possible boxing match against undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, “Money” Mayweather has now come forward to confirm that a possible Manny Pacquiao rematch is no longer on his mind.
