UFC megastar Conor McGregor faced off against Floyd Mayweather inside the squared circle back in 2017. Making his big octagon return, “Notorious” just faced off against Khabib Nurmagomedov for the UFC lightweight title on Oct. 6.
Nurmagomedov earned a submission victory over Conor McGregor within the fourth round. Directly afterwards, Nurmagomedov leaped out of the octagon and attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis. The incident sparked a massive brawl among the fight camps of the two competitors. The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has since frozen Khabib Nurmagomedov’s $2 million payday while an investigation is still underway.
Speaking in a recent interview, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has decided to provide his thoughts on the incident.
“It’s going to be a huge fine, pretty sure.” Mayweather said. Check out the undefeated boxing legend’s full thoughts within the video provided below.
