Former ONE Championship welterweight champion Ben Askren is nearing a spot on the roster of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Now talented knockout artist Mike Perry wants to welcome the former title holder inside the octagon.
UFC News
ONE Championship is currently negotiating a trade of Ben Askren for former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson. While the deal has not yet been finalized, the negotiations are reportedly in their final stages. There has never been a fighter trade between major mixed martial arts promotions before, making this a historic moment for the sport.
Taking to Twitter, UFC welterweight “Platinum” Mike Perry has decided to call out Ben Askren. Check it out below.
“I was waiting to beat @Cowboycerrone first but I threw my name out there on insta and I see him saying nobody is saying anything so let it be known @Benaskren gonna need some aspirin if I can get my name on the contract with him. That wrestling shit don’t scare me b*tch”
