UFC welterweight Mike Perry and former division title challenger Darren Till have formed a bit of a history as of late. Till and Perry entered a heated cage-side verbal altercation back at UFC Fight Night 118. The two fighters later had a somewhat amicable sparring session, of which some footage may be seen above.
After losing to UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, however, Darren Till decided to move up in weight to the middleweight division. Speaking to MMA Junkie, Mike Perry has come forward to reveal that he may still be interested in taking on Darren Till.
“When I knock (Cerrone) out, I wasn’t sure Till could make that weight coming back down. If I can skip the line (at middleweight), we could make that fight happen, because there’s so much animosity in it already. It’s such a good fight to make.”
“If that fight (against Till) can’t happen, I don’t see why the Robbie Lawler fight couldn’t happen. Other than Robbie Lawler and Darren Till, I don’t know what direction it goes.”
