Michel Prazeres and Josh Burkman kicked off the preliminary action of Fox Sports at “UFC Fight Night 106” with their lightweight bout. Prazeres pushed the pace early and caught Burkman with a nasty right hand that allowed him to follow up with a flurry of strikes that few men could withstand
Prazeres could not get the finish right there but was able to keep the fight on the canvas where he transitioned to north-south. Prazeres locked in a north-south choke and forced Burkman into submission to kick off the FS1 portion of the fights in exciting fashion!
Burkman took his gloves off after the bout and retired inside the octagon, Brian Stann revealed.
