Individuals in the Ultimate Fighting Championship offices just confused two of their biggest stars on a national platform. Before they could be called out for it, they deleted it and hoped nobody would notice.
Of course, a LOT of people were quick to call out the fact that they had confused Nate Diaz for Conor McGregor.
After her dominant performance at “UFC 210”, Cynthia Calvillo took to the microphone to lay out her thought process during the main event. The ever-charasmatic Calvillo channeled her inner Nate Diaz during the post-fight interview and stated, “I’m not surprised mother f****r!”.
An employee with the UFC shared the following tweet, insinuating that McGregor was the first one to drop this line when in fact Diaz had at “UFC 196” when he defeated McGregor on less than two week’s notice:
