Even though the new owners of Ultimate Fighting Championship at WME-IMG seem to completely ignore the rankings when approaching championship matches, the UFC recently released an updated version of the official rankings.
Chris Weidman suffered a major drop in the middleweight division after his controversial loss to Gegard Mousasi at “UFC 210”, but it was Robert Whittaker’s massive knockout win over Gegard Mousasi that knocked “The All American” out of the top five completely.
Demetrious Johnson reigns supreme over the flyweights, having just defeated Wilson Reis in dominant fashion at “UFC on FOX 24”. Reis’ loss knocked him down a spot which allowed rising star Ray Borg to climb into the number-three spot. Check out the updated list in its entirety below:
