NFL Linebacker turned MMA fighter Ryan Jones was shot and killed on Sunday.

Ryan Jones, who spent time with both the Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants, was among three men who were shot, and according to the Reno Gazette-Journal, he died on the scene. Police are currently calling the shooting an “ongoing investigation” and very few details have been released at this time.

Jones became the first player in Montana Tech school history to sign an NFL contract when he joined the Ravens in 2014. He converted from defensive end to linebacker upon joining the NFL. He was released with an injury settlement and the Giants took a chance on him next. He spent time with New York in 2015.
