Fight fans were privileged to an entertaining night of fights on Saturday, Nov. 11. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) took to Norfolk, Virginia for UFC Fight Night 120. In the night’s headliner, one of the event’s exciting lightweight match ups, former champion Anthony Pettis put on a bloody war with tough contender Dustin Poirier. In the end, Poirier managed to sink in a TKO victory over the former champion. Of course, the main event was not the only exhilarating lightweight match up of the night.
Sage Northcutt made a return to the lightweight division on the night’s main card, taking on Michel Quinones in a battle for division dominance. Northcutt has never lost within the UFC’s lightweight division, with a professional record of 8-2 leading into the night’s match up.
Northcutt put on a dominant display over his opponent at UFC Fight Night 120, keeping the fighter’s undefeated streak within the lightweight division alive. Check out what some UFC fighters had to say about Northcutt’s performance in the posts below:
Say what you want about Sage, but kid def has his own style and personality on the mic, and they make him standout, on top of his fighting. #UFCNorfolk
