The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for another exciting night of fights. This time, the mixed martial arts promotion is preparing for UFC on FOX 26. The event goes down Dec. 16, 2017 inside the Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Canada. With the exciting night of fights now only weeks away, the UFC has decided to reveal the official poster for the night’s main event match up.
Headlining the Winnipeg fight card, former champions Robbie Lawler and Rafael dos Anjos will be battling it out for division supremacy. Lawler is riding a unanimous decision victory over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone from UFC 214 earlier this year. That was Lawler’s first win since being knocked out and losing the welterweight title to Tyron Woodley at UFC 201.
Dos Anjos is currently riding a two fight winning streak. RDA has been able to reinvent himself in welterweight division after suffering back to back losses at 155lbs. The former champion earned a unanimous decision win over Tarec Saffiedine, before taking out Neil Magny with a first round submission at UFC 215.
