In a new emoji and hash tag rich statement to his official Instagram, UFC interim champion Tony Ferguson says he will be unifying the world title with Conor McGregor in March or April, of 2018.
Ferguson won the UFC’s interim world title when he defeated Kevin Lee at UFC 216. All of this due to Conor McGregor pursuing a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather.
Of course, Tony’s claim contradicts Friday’s report of a Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor boxing match in negotiations for April. However, there’s no set plan as to who or where McGregor will fight next.
