UFC megastar Conor McGregor has not competed since his foray into the world of professional boxing back in 2017. With "Notorious" now set to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov inside the octagon, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has come forward with a few words of advice for McGregor's opponent. Conor McGregor faced undefeated pugilist legend "Money" Mayweather on Aug. 26, 2017, ultimately suffering a TKO loss to the boxer within the tenth round. Now "Notorious" is set to fight another undefeated fighter. This time, the Ireland native is challenging UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov for his title in the main event of UFC 229. The event will take place Oct. 6, live on pay-per-view. Speaking to TMZ Sports, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was recently asked his opinion on the upcoming match up. \u201cI don\u2019t really have a prediction because I\u2019ve never seen the guy fight that\u2019s facing Conor McGregor \u2014 from what I know he\u2019s a hell of a guy that\u2019s on the ground \u2014 hell of a grappler \u2014 and he can wrestle.\u201d When asked if he has any advice for Khabib Nurmagomedov, Mayweather added "The fans want to see you stand up and fight.
