On paper, Al Iaquinta and Diego Sanchez have two fighting styles that would have made for a fantastic back-and-forth war in the co-main event of “UFC Fight Night 108”. In the end, it turned out to be a one-sided affair that saw Iaquinta becoming the first man to score a clean knockout win over Sanchez.

Iaquinta made his return to the octagon after nearly two years of absence and he made his presence felt right away. Iaquinta dropped Sanchez who got right back up, only to get knocked right down again with a vicious right hand. The referee stepped in to wave the fight off so Sanchez did not have to eat any extra punishment.
