Ultimate Fighting Championship just sold to WME-IMG last year for a reported four-billion dollars. UFC President Dana White received a massive payout as a result of the sale, but he still remains in front of the cameras and gets his hands dirty every single day to get fight deals and contracts done.
Even though he is a major figure in a premier sports company, White somehow still manages to be a more polarizing figure than Roger Goodell of the NFL and Gary Bettman of the NHL. White will cuss out the media if he sees fit, and he will even reply to trolls on social media to sound off on them.
There is a lot of behind the scenes work that White does that fight fans don’t seem to appreciate. White’s job is a constant balance of walking into the day with bad news and making the best of it. From the look of the next few cards UFC has coming up, White has been doing a good job at keeping things intact!
