After Injuries And Cancellations Here’s Your Updated UFC 216 Fight Card And Bout Order

After injuries and cancellations caused some changed to UFC 216, here is the updated fight card for October 7th.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is getting ready for another exciting night of fights. This time, the world’s leading mixed martial arts promotion is gearing up for the highly anticipated UFC 216 pay-per-view event. UFC 216 goes down this Saturday, Oct. 7, inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The fight card has experienced several changes, but after the multiple shifts, the fight card still has 13 intriguing match ups.

UFC strawweight Paige VanZant was initially set to make her debut in the newly formed female flyweight division, against Jessica Eye . However, VanZant has since suffered an injury and neither fighter will be making their way to the T-Mobile Arena.

Andrea “KGB” Lee was recently signed by the UFC, with her expected to make her debut at UFC 216 against Kalinda Faria. However, it was later revealed that Andrea Lee must serve six months in the USADA testing pool before being eligible to compete. Lee failed a drug test last year, forcing USADA to require the six month testing period. Now neither fighter will be making it to UFC 216.

Still, UFC 216 is set have a series of exciting fights. Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee will battle it out for the interim lightweight title in the night’s main event, while Demetrious Johnson will attempt to break the hallowed UFC record for most consecutive title defenses in the night’s co-main event match up against Ray Borg.
