Ahead of this weekend’s stacked UFC double-header, UFC 219 participants Holly Holm an Cris Cyborg got intense in their very first pre-fight stare down.
The two top female fighters will fight for the UFC’s featherweight world title, live on pay-per-view, on December 30th.
Cris Cyborg will make the first defense of her belt against the woman who became a household name by brutally knocking out Ronda Rousey for the UFC bantamweight world title.
UFC 219 is set to go down from the T-mobile Arena, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The UFC tried to slate Conor McGregor’s return in the night’s headliner, but were unable to secure the Irish star. The UFC also attempted at one point to get Nate Diaz off the sidelines for the night’s main event, but were unable to come to terms with the Stockton born Mega-star as well.
All in all, though no one has officially announced the headliner for UFC 219, this is likely it.
