It’s the biggest fight the UFC can make in their female division line up, and it’s just been booked.
UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg will make her first title defense against the woman who shocked the world by knocking out Ronda Rousey, former bantamweight champion Holly Holm.
The two will face off on December 30th, as part of the UFC 219 fight card.
Though the UFC’s official announcement of the bout did not name the ladies as the pay-per-view main event, a report from the Los Angeles Times says that they are the likely headliner.
The UFC took to Twitter to announce the fight.
Here’s their official announcement:
BREAKING: There’s a title on the line at #UFC219!
@CrisCyborg is set to defend her undisputed featherweight championship against @HollyHolm in Las Vegas on Dec. 30.
