Former UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm is gearing up for her next shot at a UFC title. However, this time, the fighter will be facing off in the featherweight division.
Holm recently pulled herself out of a tough three fight losing streak with a question mark kick knockout of Bethe Correia at UFC Fight Night 111. The only three losses on Holm’s professional record were dealt consecutively by Germaine de Randamie, Valentina Shevchenko and Miesha Tate.
That being said, “The Preacher’s Daughter” has since been trash-talking with UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg. Now the two mixed martial arts warriors are set to face off for division dominance in a highly anticipated title fight match up.
Holm and Cyborg are set to meet inside the octagon at UFC 219. The event goes down Dec. 30 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be available on pay-per-view.
