UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg added yet another victory to her record on Saturday night, Dec. 30. Since the title holder’s recent win, Invicta FC featherweight title holder Megan Anderson has decided to call out the fighter. Now Cyborg has come forward with a response.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted UFC 219 on Saturday night inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. Headlining the event, Cyborg faced off against former UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm in a brutal all-out octagon war. The fight ultimately went the distance, with Cyborg earning a unanimous decision victory over her opponent.
Following the fight, Megan Anderson took to Twitter to call out the champion.
“Great fight ladies! Congrats Cris on retaining your belt! @ufc I think there’s only 1 fight to make now against a legit featherweight. #UFC219

Taking to Instagram, Cyborg has now decided to offer a response. It would appear that the UFC champion is down for a match up.
“#ufc221 it’s been a year since @megana_mma won the @invictafc belt and she hasn’t defended it yet. If she’s ready to defend her #1 ranking I would love to fight in Australia.”
