Conor McGregor has decided to offer Floyd Mayweather Jr. a piece of his mind with a new message.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. pulled himself out of retirement earlier this year to put his perfect record on the line for one last time. On Aug. 26, the undefeated pugilist legend stepped into the squared circle for one of the year’s most highly anticipated combat sporting events.
For the match up, Mayweather faced off against UFC superstar Conor McGregor. McGregor made his professional boxing debut against the undefeated legend of the sport in an attempt to take over the world of boxing as “Notorious” had the world of mixed martial arts.
However, Mayweather ultimately earned a TKO victory over McGregor in the tenth round of their match up. Both fighters walked away with massive paydays, as Mayweather slipped back into retirement with a perfect record of 50-0.
Still, rumors have been spreading that Mayweather is in talks with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) about potentially making an appearance inside the octagon sometime in the near future. Now “Notorious” has decided to take to social media to roast the undefeated boxer.
ESPN recently offered a question to their readers over Twitter, stating “What if Floyd Mayweather decided to trade his boxing gloves for UFC gloves?”
McGregor has now simply responded, “Virgin ears.”
